My Background
My journey towards becoming a therapist began in college. After graduating from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, I made an impact in the lives of residents of a brain injury clinic in southern Illinois. After experiencing the vast benefits of therapeutic touch, I decided to expand my knowledge base and pursued a degree certification in Massage Therapy. This goal was reached when I graduated from Metro Business College in the spring of 2019.
My Approach
My focus is on utilizing proper technique and a calming atmosphere in order to provide a relaxing and stress-free experience. My hope is to provide pain management and stress relief by loosening muscle tissues which increases blood flow and allows the body to better heal itself.
